In a suspected multi-site stabbing attack in Hadera, six individuals were found injured across different locations. Among the victims are two men aged 30 and 50, who are in critical condition, and three others aged 55, 60, and 70, who are seriously wounded. One additional person is reported to have moderate injuries. All the injured were transported to Hillel Yaffe Hospital.

The assailant, or one of the assailants, reportedly arrived on a motorcycle. Initial reports indicated that the stabber fled the scene, but later updates confirmed that one suspect was neutralized on Herbert Samuel Street. Police are actively searching for additional suspects. The stabbings occurred in multiple areas within the city, including Hagitit Street, Yitzhak Ben Zvi Street, Herzl Street, and Herbert Samuel Street.

Emergency Response and Municipal Action
The emergency call to MDA’s hotline was made at 11:25 a.m. regarding the stabbing incident. MDA medics and paramedics quickly evacuated the victims, treating them at various locations. Hadera Mayor Nir Ben Haim responded to the situation promptly, instructing security and urban police to increase patrols in the area. He also ordered that students in kindergartens and schools remain on-site until the threat is resolved.

Security Concerns Raised
According to security agencies, there has been a heightened awareness of potential terrorist attacks around this date, particularly coinciding with Simchat Torah, which is significant following recent violent incidents.

Witness Accounts
Nathaniel Jan, a medic from the Rescue Union who was present at the scene, described the attack: “Someone on a motorcycle stabbed them and ran away. There are helicopters in the air, and police are searching between the second and third scenes.” The community remains on high alert as investigations continue.
