The government agreed on a support to the medical staff who are at the forefront of fighting Corona

With the support of the Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, the Minister of Finance, Avigdor Liethberman, the Minister of Economy and Industry, Orna Barbibai, in coordination with the Minister of Health, Nitzan Horowitz, agreed on a unique project to support the medical staff who are at the forefront of dealing with the Corona and businesses.
As part of the project, the government will deliver to every medical institution leisure vouchers, which the medical staff can implement in a variety of businesses all over the country, including hotels, accommodation, culture, attractions, restaurants, cafes and more.
The aim of the project is to honor and express appreciation for their dedicated work, and to allow some respite to the medical staff, while encouraging the leisure business that has been hit by declining activity and revenue, due to the corona virus. It is estimated that tens of thousands of vouchers will be distributed to employees in the various health institutions, at a total cost of tens of millions of shekels.
The manner of allocating the vouchers and the mechanism for redeeming with the businesses will be formulated and published soon.
