Bombardier is preparing to increase its investments in Israel

Bombardier, the Canadian railway and aircraft giant, held a conference for the local aerospace industries at the Manufacturers' Association in Tel Aviv, in order to find new collaborations for the purpose of realizing reciprocal purchasing and increasing its investments in Israel. The conference was held in cooperation with the Industrial Cooperation Authority of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Manufacturers' Association and the Israel Export Institute.

The Aerospace Suppliers Conference was designed to increase the scope of the company's cooperation with the Israeli air industries, which according to the company's data now amounts to about 8 million euros a year. Bombardier believes that industrial cooperation can grow to tens of millions of euros a year. To this end, three senior officials from the purchasing department of the company's aerospace division arrived in Israel.

The conference was attended by about 70 Israeli companies that are members of the Manufacturers' Association, including veteran companies in the industry, such as the Elbit, Ashot Ashkelon, Paz Mechulim, TAT. Technologies and New Rocket with start-ups that develop innovative technologies that can integrate into the company's various systems. The senior officials from Canada will stay in Israel for a few more days and will conduct tours of a limited number of companies today in order to deepen their familiarity with the best suppliers.

Minister of Economy and Industry Eli Cohen: "The event is another example of the important connection that reciprocal relations have made between Israeli companies and leading international companies, which is a significant tool for increasing exports and will continue to encourage the creation of jobs and business partnerships."
Shraga Brosh, President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel, said: "The Manufacturers' Association works hand in hand with the Industrial Cooperation Authority in order to realize the commitment of international companies to reciprocal procurement from Israeli industry and we must remember that reciprocal procurement is one of the most important tools available to the government in order to promote Israeli industry To develop research and development and to inject billions of shekels back into the Israeli economy, so it is the responsibility of the government to verify and supervise that this tool indeed exists, and that every deal with an international company also includes reciprocal procurement from Israeli companies.
