The coverage of Netanyahu's speech on US news websites attracted Iranian talkbacks who rushed to flood the network's discussions with lies in an attempt to influence public opinion.
Spot.IM, the Israeli company whose products are conducted by users of the largest news sites in the US, located about 130 Iranian surfers who conducted discussions through the company's products and whose activity is intended to spread lies in the context of Netanyahu's speech.
"When we identify hostile activity, we block the harmful user, so that the rest of the surfers enjoy a discussion in a safe environment," said Nadav Shoval, CEO of Spot.IM. But this time we chose to leave and expose the methods of action of one of the surfers operating from Iran, in order to present a case of their actions. "
The attached photograph shows the activity of a surfer who according to information received in the system operates from the city of Shiraz in Iran. In the wake of Netanyahu's speech, the same surfer responded to three large news sites addressing an English-speaking audience. The response increased by one second, reflecting a strategy for content distribution and different from surfers' discussions that develop at a natural rate.
"Israel has mixed lies with old information, misinformation, distorted information, and lies were created from this cocktail, and the reason for this is to cover the Israeli aggression of attacks in Syria and Gaza."
Then the surfer brought up another response, and a second later another surfer with a different name who also works from Iran raised the same response on another news site. Hitchhiker has just declared that he rejects Netanyahu's claims for lack of credibility. These surfers are part of a broader group of content distributors based in Iran who work with identical texts and distribute them quickly in a number of sites under the same types of articles.
Shoval adds: "A significant number of these talkbacks work with copy-paste, which makes it easier for us to identify them quickly using machine learning technology." Filtering on the basis of real-time writing is harder because we are committed to providing a platform for a variety of views and worldviews. We surf only because of a statement that is not pleasant or inaccurate, but in the end we identify surfers who deviate from authentic activity. "
Prime Minister Netanyahu announced last night that Israel had laid its hand on the "secret archive of the Iranian nuclear program," detailing Iran's actions to obtain nuclear weapons. According to him, Israel has the proof that Tehran has lied to the world so brazenly that the powers will approve the nuclear agreement with it
In a statement to the media from the Tel Aviv headquarters, Netanyahu said that the archive contains tens of thousands of pages, folders and disks containing details of the military nuclear program that Iran has hidden for years from the international community
He added that Israel shared the information with the United States and intends to share it with other countries and with the International Atomic Energy Agency. However, Netanyahu did not say that Iran is currently conducting a military nuclear program behind the back of the international community.
