Rav Bariach will establish a company for the marketing and sale of components of solar systems

Rav Bariach, controlled by Shmuel Donnerstein (60%), announced today (Wednesday) that it is joining the solar trend. Rav Briach Energy, a subsidiary of Rav Briach, will, together with Golan Solar, establish a company for the marketing and sale of components of solar systems - which will probably be called "Golan Latch". The initial investment is about NIS 15 million.
Golan Solar is a consulting company in the solar field, which is owned by the entrepreneurs Boaz Presler, Eyal Bahrav and Uri Lieberman, and is involved in solar projects worth NIS 300 million. Rav Barih will hold about 66% of the new company, while Golan Solar will hold about 33%.
The new company will engage in the logistics and distribution of solar equipment as a One Stop Shop (one place where all the required solutions can be obtained) for all companies engaged in the solar field. It will use the existing logistics centers of Rav-Briach or alternatively establish a dedicated logistics center for solar systems.
In addition, Rav Briach announced that the new company has signed an agreement with Trina Solar, a Chinese solar panel manufacturer, for an agreement to distribute solar panels to commercial and home systems. Rav Barih estimates that the company's sales turnover will reach NIS 250-200 million within three years.
"We are expanding the existing product basket that currently serves customers and promoting the One Stop Shop strategy," said Idan Zoarz, CEO of Rav-Briach.
"We have a good relationship with the construction industry and we offer them deals in various models for purchasing solar systems - for the private, business and institutional market. For the private market we offer combined deals. For example, for a customer who comes to one of our showrooms and looks for doors for home renovation we can offer as part From the deal the solar element.We offer a package deal where the solar element will finance the whole deal, i.e. we offer the customer financing for the purchase of the doors if he installs solar panels on the roof of his house, where the electricity generated by the panels will cover the whole deal. We are already piloting some of our branches, "said Zoarz.
Rav Briach's announcement comes two weeks after Electra Consumer Products announced its entry into the solar field, as part of which it will cooperate with Solaredge to market its products, and will also acquire control of Solar Sensei - which imports, manufactures, distributes and markets equipment for solar systems.
Zoarz is not afraid of competition. "Rav Briach's business environment is competitive. Rav Briach's DNA is competition. For every product I produce, competitors place a product in front of me. I welcome the competition and there is enough room for everyone. I assume that in the fourth quarter of 2021, or in the first quarter of "2022 will see more concrete things as a result of the company's solar activity."
