Pelephone: All employees in vacation without pay will return to work and get a grant

Following negotiations in the past few weeks between the Histadrut, the Pelephone employees and the company's management, the parties signed a new agreement that will allow the company to deal with the consequences of the Corona crisis, while reducing the damage to its employees.
Negotiations on the agreement were led by MZA VP of Zvika Abramovitz, Chairman of the Cellular Workers 'Union, Internet and High Tech at the Yaki Pioneering Federation, and Chairman of the Workers' Committee Yechiel Shemen. Under the agreement, all Pelephone employees who were taken out of the USSR or initiated vacation (during which period all social security and insurance benefits were paid) will be returned to regular work until 1.6.2020. All employment conditions, scope and working hours, as was the case before the outbreak of the Corona crisis, will be maintained. It has been agreed that the company will also allocate NIS 1 million to be distributed as a one-time grant to employees who return to active work.
In addition, it was agreed that the concentrated company holiday planned to be held abroad this year will be canceled due to the situation and out of concern for the safety and health of the employees of the company. At the same time, out of shared responsibility and commitment to the company's success and to enable it to meet the challenges facing it, the employee representative agreed that the welfare budget This year will decrease one time.
