Israeli's bow their heads and  painfully notes the memory of the six million Holocaust Martyrs 'and Heroes. The Holocost remembrance Day is noted on Thursday in many ceremonies throughout the country and the world. At 10:00, a two-minute siren will be heard, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, at the foot of the monument to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Ynet accompanies the events of Holocaust Remembrance Day by direct broadcasts from various centers.

In the wreath-laying ceremony, President Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, Supreme Court President Esther Hayut, representatives of survivor organizations, fighters and delegations from around the country and abroad.

At 11 am the Knesset began a ceremony to read the names of those who died "each person has a name". Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Supreme Court President Esther Hayut, Ministers and Members of Knesset will read the names of Holocaust victims and six memorial candles will be lit by MKs Benny Gantz , Bezalel Samotrich and his father, Keren Barak and Emma and Yevgeny Soba, and Holocaust survivors Rabbi Chaim Druckman and Esther Levy.
Before the lighting of the candles, short clips were screened in which they light up their family stories. The ceremony is being held for the 30th time in the Knesset and will be marked by "War Within the War - The Struggle for the Survival of the Jews during the Holocaust." At 13:00 the main memorial service will be held at the Hall of Remembrance at Yad Vashem.
At 14:30, the 31st march of life will begin in Poland. At the event, which began in 1988, delegations from around the world will participate in a three-kilometer march from the Auschwitz camp to the Birkenau camp.
Leading the march as the senior Israeli figure will be Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog, who will be accompanied by US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Greek Patriarch Bartholomew and Romanian Prime Minister Eureka Danchella.
