2020 is revealing itself from continent to continent - Happy New Year!

Worldwide, the New Year, and the new decade, are receiving huge fireworks and performances. The celebrations that began at noon in the Eastern Hemisphere will reach Israel at midnight.
The first countries to receive 2020 were Samoa and Kiribati, Pacific Islander countries, to which the New Year arrived at 12:00 noon. New Zealand, the first major country to be counted back, received the New Year at 1 p.m. Two hours later, 2020 also entered Sydney in Australia, in the midst of huge fires in the area.
Sydney Harbor has a spectacular fireworks show every year, despite crowds protesting to cancel the show and invest money in the shutdown efforts. More than 100,000 fireworks lit up the sky, and hundreds of thousands watched the show.
In the afternoon the New Year arrived in the Far East. At 17:00, our watch celebrated in Japan, North Korea and South Korea. An hour later, 2020 reached the Philippines, Indonesia and China. In Hong Kong, the giant protest against the government did not stop today. A few minutes after the new year came in, police used tear gas against the protesters taking to the streets. Protesters are planning a big protest on the first day of the new year.
By 2030 our clock has reached 2020 in India. Large protests are also being held there, in protest of the new citizenship law - which grants citizenship to immigrants from neighboring countries as long as they are not Muslims. In New Delhi, Mumbai and other big cities are preparing for rallies and fears of clashes on New Year's Eve.
 Later in the evening, the New Year began to reach countries in the Middle East, Africa and Europe as well. In the UAE, crowds of celebrants came to watch the fireworks show at Burj Suit in Dubai - the world's tallest tower. At 23:00, the new decade opens in Moscow, with a fireworks show in Red Square.
An hour after the new year arrives in Israel, the fireworks will start in major European cities, including Berlin and Paris. The main Paris show is held in Champs Elysees. About 300,000 people usually reach it, but this time the audience may be smaller due to the strike that disrupts public transport in recent weeks.
At 02:00, Israel Watch will be counted back in London, where Big Ben, who has been silent in recent years for renovations, will ring. London Mayor Sadiq Khan has promised the city's fireworks show will be "the best London has ever seen."
During the night, the New Year will arrive in South America and morning will be counted back in the U.S. Will only win at 12 noon tomorrow.
