Six pro-Palestinian activists were arrested after breaking into the Elbit Systems company in Bristol with a large vehicle just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday. During the confrontation, two police officers were injured, with one being taken to the hospital for back injuries and later released, while the other received on-site medical treatment for leg injuries.

The incident involved more than 12 individuals who fled the scene after the initial confrontation. The police have reported that six people, aged 20-30, were arrested on suspicion of various offenses, including wounding with intent, aggravated burglary, and criminal damage. The authorities seized hammers, axes, whips, and other homemade weapons during the arrests.

Attack on Elbit Systems

According to reports, the perpetrators emerged from a vehicle and began vandalizing the Elbit Systems building, causing significant damage. The assailants also attacked employees who attempted to intervene. The video of the vandalism was posted on the "Palestine Operations" X (formerly Twitter) page, claiming that the activists aimed to disrupt Elbit's supply chain, which they allege supports genocide.

 Community Alert

The Bristol police issued a notice to residents, informing them of ongoing arrests related to the incident. They also shared videos of the police activity and the vandalism during the operation. The police are continuing to make arrests as they pursue the remaining suspects.

Repeat Offense by the Same Group

This is not the first time Elbit Systems has been targeted by this group of pro-Palestinian activists. In June, the same group broke into Elbit's offices in Kent, UK, where they placed spikes on the road leading to the plant to delay police and security forces. This latest incident follows a significant deal signed earlier this month between the Ministry of Defense and Elbit Systems for the purchase of 'Blue and White' ammunition worth approximately 1.5 billion NIS. As part of the deal, Elbit Systems will establish a new factory in Israel for the production of ammunition and armaments.
