United States Army's Central Command (CENTCOM) has deployed the USS Gerald Ford, a formidable aircraft carrier, to the region. While the exact distance from Israel's shores was not disclosed, CENTCOM stated that their goal is to "deter any player who seeks to escalate the situation and expand this war." The USS Gerald Ford is accompanied by eight squadrons of attack and support aircraft, as well as a missile patrol and four missile destroyers.

Additionally, reports indicate that the U.S. military is sending extra fighter jets to the area, including F-16, F-15, and A-10 aircraft. General Michael Korilla, the commander of the American Central Command, emphasized that the deployment of these forces serves as a strong deterrent to any hostile elements contemplating taking advantage of the situation.

Amidst these developments, The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. government is contemplating the deployment of another aircraft carrier, the USS Dwight Eisenhower, to the region. Sources have revealed that the aircraft carrier and its accompanying ships were originally scheduled to arrive in the Middle East in the coming months, but now they are expected to reach the area in about two weeks. It remains uncertain whether this additional aircraft carrier will supplement the existing deployment or replace it.

Against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities on the Lebanese border, the Biden administration issued a warning to Hezbollah, cautioning them against entering the conflict. French officials reportedly conveyed messages to Hezbollah's Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, stressing that any involvement by Hezbollah would lead to confrontations with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), potentially with the support of the incoming American naval force.

Furthermore, in light of the possibility of active U.S. backing – without stationing fighters on Israeli soil – Houthi rebels in Yemen, who are aligned with Iran, have issued threats of their own. They've stated their intention to join the conflict, launching missiles and UAVs in the event of an escalation. These developments mark a significant and potentially volatile turning point in the ongoing regional tensions.
