After a stormy night, crowds demonstrate on Thursday against the legal revolution in front of the homes of the coalition members across the country, in what they call the "Night of the Partners". Crowds are already in front of the homes of Gila Gamaliel, Yariv Levin, Yoav Galant, Avi Dichter, Nir Barkat, Yuli Edelstein, Miki Zohar Yitzhak Weserlauf, David Bitan, Moshe Saada, Moshe Arbel, Zvika Fogel, Boaz Bismuth, Amichai Shikli, Amir Ohana, Hanoch Milbitsky and Ofir Akunis.
Many police forces were at the center of the demonstrations. Clashes developed in several cities, among others in front of the home of Yariv Levin in Modi'in, and in Tel Aviv in front of the home of Gila Gamaliel and Amir Ohana. Major roads, including the coastal road in the Herzliya area, were blocked for a short time. Bialik Street in Ramat Gan, Sderot Rokah and the Namir/Einstein intersection were also blocked to traffic by the protesters.
After the demonstrations in Tel Aviv, demonstrators came to Ayalon North in the Peace Exchange area and blocked the road to traffic. Police cavalry arrived at the scene, and after a short time, they were evacuated from the road. The demonstrators went up to the Shalom Interchange, and the descent to Ayalon is blocked.
The square next to the house of Science Minister Akunis was blocked off, and flares were lit in front of Yoav Galant's house. Clashes also broke out in front of Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana's house between the protesters and the police. The police are trying to evacuate the police using cavalry and brought a match to the scene, which has not yet been activated. Two people were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
About a hundred demonstrators demonstrating in front of Yuli Edelstein's house in Herzliya advanced from his house towards the coastal road - and blocked it in the area of the Kfar Shmariahu intersection. The police stationed many forces in the area to prevent more protesters from joining and evacuate the protesters on the road. Roads were also blocked in Ramat Gan, including Bialik Street and the Halacha Interchange, by demonstrators demonstrating in front of MK Boaz Bismut's house.
In front of the home of Justice Minister Yariv Levin in Modiin, clashes broke out between the protesters and the police forces, and a protester was arrested by the police. YSM forces were rushed to the center of the demonstration, following the blocking of one of the roads leading to Levin's house. Flares were lit on the spot by the demonstrators. After the man's arrest, about 20 people moved to demonstrate in front of the police station in Modi'in.
Dozens of people from the organizations "The Pink Front" and the LGBT protest are participating in a demonstration near the home of Minister of the Negev, Galilee and National Security Yitzhak Wesarlauf in the Shapira neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Many policemen are on the scene, including the police cavalry. Two people were arrested at the demonstration, one on suspicion of violating the order and the other on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
Dozens of people demonstrated in front of the house of the Minister of Absorption Ofir Sofer in the settlement of Tefahot in Galilee. The minister went out to the protesters and spoke to them. In the neighborhood of the Minister of Intelligence, Gila Gamaliel, in the north of Tel Aviv, posters were hung with her picture and the inscription "Gila is silent about the laws of the dictatorship". Many police forces are present and trying to forcibly repel the demonstrators, one protester from the "Building an Alternative" movement was arrested. KKL Sderot near her home was blocked to traffic by protesters, and two protesters were arrested on suspicion of attacking police officers and disturbing the peace.
After the activist's arrest, Mebunov Alternative stated that "the spirit of the commander descended on the police, and just as women will be the first to be harmed by the dangerous legislation, so they will also be the first to be arrested in the field. Exclusion of women by any means and everywhere."
During the confrontations, a woman fainted. After she recovered, she told Walla!: "They started to surround us and I felt like I was suffocating. Policemen grabbed me and dragged me aside, took my flags, and claimed that I beat them with them, and then I passed out." Later, the protesters started marching from the minister's house towards Bnei Ephraim Street, and blocked it in the south direction. Sderot Rokah and Darech Namir in Tel Aviv were also blocked to traffic.
The leaders of the protest said after the wave of arrests and clashes at the centers of the demonstrations throughout the country: "We are witnessing excessive police violence that a black flag is flying over in the demonstrations in front of Levin and Ohana. This is a serious violation of the freedom of demonstration and the question arises to what extent Ben Gabir's dictatorship penetrates the police. We remind the commissioner that he trusts Maintaining the security of the citizens and not about breaking their bones."
The head of the opposition, Yair Lapid, also referred to the police activity during the evening, saying that "the violence against the demonstrators must stop. The government's attempts to suppress democracy by force will be met with determined resistance. The tens of thousands of people who are taking to the streets are saying to this government: 'You have no mandate to destroy the country.' Wonderful Israeli patriots who care about the country's future and fight for its values. Levin and Ben Gvir's attempt to turn the police into a violent militia will not succeed."
Yaron Kramer, one of the leaders of the "Brothers in Arms" protest, added: "We, the fighters of Israel's regimes, went together through all the difficult regimes. We knew that only with a big hug could we survive all these threats. These days, a deep rift has been torn in Israeli society, the likes of which the state has not known since its founding. It will deepen and grow as the government continues with the destructive plan, as long as the moves continue it will be irreconcilable. I call on all the ministers and Knesset members who are supposed to vote on Monday (on the reason of reasonableness) - it will be on your conscience. You will have to look at the pictures from the streets of Israel and explain to them how you were complicit to this malicious program."
The leaders of the protest also called on the public: "We call on the citizens of the country to take time off from work on Tuesday in case this legislation passes, we must act - on the streets, in the squares, in the government institutions. We call on the employers and the leaders of the economy - support the workers, allow days off, strike jobs if this legislation passes Israel is on a clear path to becoming a fanatical and extreme dictatorship."
