Crowds of Israelis in parks and bathing beaches also expressed distrust on Saturday in the third closure that went into effect on Sunday afternoon and remained on paper only. When this is the situation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a discussion next week on the issue of imposing a tight and short closure that "will allow a quick opening of the economy." It was also reported that Netanyahu continues to hold talks with the heads of the pharmaceutical and vaccine companies in order to allow the vaccinations to continue at the fastest pace in the world.
Netanyahu is interested in a tight and short closure in the form of the second closure imposed in September - which included the closure of the entire education system, a reduction in labor (only 30 percent) and a reduction in public transportation - which has been proven in previous closures to be a resounding failure.
Meanwhile, the acclaimed vaccination campaign in Israel continues at full speed and today large queues were recorded near the compound near the Sami Ofer Stadium in Haifa, Kiryat Motzkin, Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, Holon and other places. Yesterday, the Ministry of Health updated that the number of vaccinated people in Israel has already reached one million people. This is after a record number of 153,000 vaccinated per day was recorded at 352 vaccination stations across the country on Tuesday.
Hundreds came to the outpatient clinics at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba to be vaccinated. Their arrival caused a great crowd. Many had to stand in line for a long time and some did not even get the vaccine, which caused resentment among the following.
The hospital said at noon that "1,300 people were vaccinated at the Meir Medical Center's vaccination complex today. During the morning, a rumor spread that it was possible to arrive without a pre-arranged appointment, which caused loads that should not have been. The vaccination staff representative waited and calmed everyone. "For their health and so it was, to the satisfaction of all those waiting. The warehouse staff worked in a very professional and efficient manner and responded to all the people who arrived, including those who were without a pre-arranged queue." In addition, an announcement by the Maccabi HMO about available queues for Corona vaccines at its vaccination centers caused queues and huge traffic jams before noon, including near the Sami Ofer Stadium in Haifa and in Kiryat Motzkin.
Following the message sent to the fund's insured, many of them arrived at the vaccination centers in the north. In the area of Sami Ofer Stadium, where the vaccines are given using the "drive-in" method, there were long traffic jams. Even in the center on Goshen Street in Kiryat Motzkin, many waited for a long time. The HMO said that in the morning there were indeed heavy loads, but towards noon the loads were eased.
Meanwhile, protests against Prime Minister Netanyahu continue on Saturday near his residence in Balfour and across the country and on bridges. In the early evening hours, at least eight protesters were arrested for burning torches. Everyone is demanding that Netanyahu resign due to the indictments against him.

thousands demand: Netanyahu go home
As mentioned, hundreds of people are protesting at bridges and intersections across the country. In one of the demonstrations, which takes place in Yavneel, a demonstrator was injured by a stone in her head. According to eyewitnesses, the stone-thrower was a boy standing inside a group of boys who threw stones and cursed at the protesters, who stood in the square and called on Netanyahu to resign.
In recent months, between four and twenty residents of the colony have been demonstrating in the square every Saturday night. According to them, recently boys from the Breslav community in the locality have been coming to the place, cursing them severely, and trying to snatch the signs from their hands. According to the protesters, the police arrived at the scene very quickly after the incident, but they noted that it did not prevent the boys from continuing to swear and throw stones.
This is the 28th week in a row that a protest has taken place in front of the Prime Minister's residence. Due to the protests, the police blocked traffic on Ben Maimon, Gaza, Paris Square, Agron, King George and Keren Hayesod streets. Also, other nearby streets in the capital, leading to these streets, are expected to be blocked. The Likud said in response to the demonstrations that "while their parents and grandparents are getting vaccinated, the demonstrators are trying to break into the prime minister's residence that brought them the vaccines. There is no limit to the absurdity."
Amir Hashakel, one of the initiators of the protest, said that "we very much hope that we will finally be able to say goodbye to Netanyahu. The last few years have not been good with him and us and it is time to say goodbye." He said that "I am a resident of Yavne, and I started my activity four years ago. As part of the activity, I stood in Yavne, Jerusalem near the Knesset and published a post with a picture each time. Three and a half years ago, they started joining me, and later more groups began to emerge."
The "No Situation" protest organization said earlier that tonight's protest will take place under the headline "In the Light and Not in the Fire of Hate." This is in order to strengthen the protest tent that regularly stands in front of the prime minister's residence, which underwent an arson attempt last Thursday.
According to the organization's announcement, around 7:00 PM, a march from the String Bridge to the center of the demonstration will begin, and an hour later, the organization's activists will hold a special candle lighting ceremony near the protest tent. "The hatred and incitement that goes out of the home of the criminal defendant, in order to save his skin from the severity of the law, has become a real danger to the entire Israeli society, which is facing elections."
The organization added that "it is puzzling that the suspects in the arson were released after interrogation, it is puzzling that the representatives of the public did not call for a halt to the severe violence against the protesters and brains. We demand that the suspects be detained until the end of the proceedings."
The demonstrators are protesting against Netanyahu's continued tenure at the same time as being charged with crimes, claiming, among other things, that he cannot separate his personal and legal good from his political decisions. The prime minister is charged with three counts.
