* Entrance to stores with an area of more than 100 square meters will be allowed subject to the presentation of a green sign, both in open areas and in malls and closed shopping complexes. The obligation of the green sign will also apply to the employees in these stores.
* The food stalls in the malls will provide service to customers subject to the presentation of a green label, and will not allow seating but only self-collection.
* Entrance to restaurants located inside a mall will be allowed subject to the presentation of a green sign, in accordance with the format currently used in restaurants.
* The green mark in malls and shopping complexes will not apply to places that provide essential services, as detailed below: a store for the sale of hygiene products (Pharm), an optician, a store for the sale of medical aids, a supermarket, a grocery store or a supermarket. In these places, the current format will continue (purple character in an occupancy ratio of 1: 7).
The regulations will take effect on Sunday, at midnight (the night between Sunday and Monday), subject to the approval of the Knesset's Constitution Committee.

The Corona Cabinet approved Thursday night in a telephone poll a series of new restrictions in the education system in an effort to curb the rise in morbidity as well as the spread of the Omicron variant. The new regulations will take effect on Monday, subject to the approval of the Knesset Education Committee. However, the new "Green Class" outline, updated to the Omicron strain, has already been approved and will be applied to all schools.
According to the updated "Green Class" outline, if there is one student verified to Omicron or two students verified to Delta in the class - all students in the class will go into seven days of isolation, during which they will be checked on the first and seventh day.
If there is only one verified Delta student in the class - the students will continue to study in the classrooms, and at the same time everyone will have PCR tests on the first day, for the rest of the week antigen tests, and on the seventh day they will perform PCR tests again.
With the approval of the new corona regulations in the Knesset Education Committee - the decisions will apply immediately in grades 7-12, and in grades 1-6 in three weeks. How will students in grades 1-12 study in green and yellow localities?
In these cities, the studies will take place as usual in the schools, while maintaining masks and hygiene. In addition, the "green class" layout will be activated according to the omicron
In classrooms where the rate of those vaccinated and recovering is higher than 70%, this includes children who have been vaccinated in only one dose in the last 30 days, studies will continue in order frontally. In classrooms where the immunization rate is less than 70% - students will study online. The decision will apply in primary schools only in three weeks, until then a policy of reducing contacts will be implemented. This, through learning in the open, learning that combines face-to-face learning with distance learning, or learning in another way that reduces contact. The way of learning will be chosen by the director of the institution. That is, in orange and red authorities there will be no frontal studies in grades 7-12 in which the vaccination rate is less than 70%, but in open space or online learning. In grades 1-6 in red authorities, Contact reduction policy while giving priority to frontal learning, unless 70% of the students in the class.
A student will be considered vaccinated even if he received only the first dose of the vaccine, and for 30 days receives the first dose of the vaccine. This setting is valid until January 9th
Kindergarten children will continue to study as usual frontally.
On Tuesday, cabinet members approved the principles of the new curriculum, but ministers Shasha Bitton and Saar voted against. At the end of the discussion, Bennett said at the time that the decision on the outline had been agreed with the new director general of the Ministry of Education, Dalit Stauber.
The Minister of Education made another claim: "This is not true. The issue of 70 percent in first to sixth grades is not something that has been agreed upon, certainly not in orange cities. It means that a great many children will be at home and their stay at home has damage."
Bennett replied: "Yifat, thank you very much. It will not take effect tomorrow, it will take effect in another three weeks. All it takes to reach 70 percent is to vaccinate and protect the child. This is the solution and it is the right solution."
