Corona declines: 343 patients are in a serious condition - 50% less than one month ago

The number of corona patients in a serious condition continues to decline and on Wednesday evening their number is 343. For comparison, exactly one month ago the number of critically ill patients was 708. This is a decrease of more than 50%. Of the severe patients - 155 are connected to respirators.
Data from the Ministry of Health show that 256 of the critically ill patients are not vaccinated at all, 23 are vaccinated without validity - that is, half a year or more has passed since they received the second vaccine dose and 54 are defined as vaccinated. For some critically ill patients, no details were given about the immune status. The data show that about 77% of severe patients are not vaccinated.
Among the severe patients, who have not yet turned 60, the rate of the unvaccinated is higher. Data from the Ministry of Health show that 140 serious patients under the age of 60 are not vaccinated at all. In addition, 10 critically ill patients of these ages are hospitalized with a vaccine of validity and eight vaccinated. This means that about 89% of the severe patients who are 60 years old and under - are not vaccinated at all. According to the Ministry of Health, all 20 serious patients in their 30s are not vaccinated.
At the same time, hundreds of Israelis still received a reply today that they were infected in Corona. A total of 636 Israelis have been verified since midnight as positive for the virus. A total of 54,500 tests were performed and the positive rate continues to decline and stands at 1.21%. This is the lowest positive rate since July 11, but it is not a final figure and may vary in both directions. Also today two corona patients died and the number of deaths since the outbreak of the plague stands at 8,029.
Since the beginning of the month, 236 corona patients have died in Israel - 155 of them in the first ten days of the month and 81 between 11 and 20 October. However, since the Ministry of Health publishes data on the deceased, sometimes many days late, these are non-final data.
