The outline that is expected to prevent isolation for students in schools in green localities will only take effect on Tuesday or Wednesday. This is despite the fact that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and the Ministry of Health claimed that the pilot would begin tomorrow. The reason why the outline is expected to start only later this week - the tests required to maintain the outline have not yet reached the authorities and school principals.
In order to maintain the outline, which is an extension of the "Green Class" pilot, about 920,000 antigen test kits are required for about 410,000 first- and sixth-grade students. According to the Ministry of Education, the tests will arrive in Israel on Monday, and only then will the distribution according to the authorities begin. According to the Ministry of Education, the pilot will only take place in grades 1-6 and not in kindergartens.
However, according to the Ministry of Health, there is no shortage of tests, and the pilot can start starting tomorrow. The Ministry of Health claims that last Sunday, 576,000 test kits were transferred to the Ministry of Education for the purpose of piloting the red cities. According to them, most of the assessments were not used at all and therefore there is no shortage.
According to the outline, in a class where a verified patient will be discovered, the students will be tested by a PCR that will be performed at the Home Front Command positions or at the health funds. Students will remain in isolation until a negative answer is received, and after that is accepted, they will return to the classroom routine, with a mandatory speed test using antigen kits for seven days. On the seventh day they will perform another PCR test again. After receiving a negative answer - the class will return to routine.
Also, in the event that four verified ones are discovered per day in the same class - the outline will be discontinued. If another verifier is discovered in the classroom, the count of the seven days required to perform tests will resume from the last day of exposure to the verified person. For the outline to be maintained, parents will need to report the results of the rapid tests as well as PCR tests on the parent portal, or present a manual form.

The number of corona patients in critical condition continues to decline and tonight (Thursday) their number stands at 457. By comparison, last Thursday the number of serious patients was 636, and two weeks ago exactly 732 such patients were hospitalized in hospitals across the country. This is a 38% decrease in the number of serious patients in two weeks.
Most patients in critical condition are not vaccinated. Data from the Ministry of Health show that 343 of the patients hospitalized in critical condition were not vaccinated at all, 70 were vaccinated but did not receive the booster dose and 30 received the booster dose. For the other 14 patients, their immune status was not disclosed. The data show that more than 77% of patients in critical condition are not vaccinated, compared to less than 7% who received the booster dose.
According to the Ministry of Health, two of the patients in critical condition are 12 to 15 years old who have not been vaccinated. A 16- to 19-year-old was also hospitalized in critical condition and was also not vaccinated. In the age group of 20 to 29 there are 14 critically ill patients - 11 of them were not vaccinated, two were vaccinated without a booster dose and one received the booster dose.
The data show, among other things, that all 23 serious patients in their 30s were not vaccinated at all. In the age group 50 to 59 - 97 critically ill patients were hospitalized - 79 of them were not vaccinated at all, 14 were vaccinated without a booster dose and four received the booster dose.

The data also show that 88 of the most difficult patients are in their 70s - the age group with the highest rate of vaccinators. 59 were not vaccinated at all, 19 were vaccinated but did not receive the booster dose, and 10 received the booster dose. Among those aged 80 and over - 30 are not vaccinated, 12 are vaccinated without a booster dose and four received the booster dose.
The Ministry of Health's evening update also shows that by the evening hours, 1,423 positives for Corona had been diagnosed in Israel. Of the 63,000 tests tested, about 2.3% were positive. The ministry's data show that close to 74% of those verified today are not vaccinated at all.
Since the outbreak of the plague, 7,879 corona patients have died in Israel, three of them today. All the deceased today are not vaccinated. Since the beginning of the month, 100 corona patients have died in Israel.
