16,401 Israelis were diagnosed positive for Corona over the weekend. This is according to data from the Ministry of Health. 9,725 Israelis were confirmed positive yesterday, and 6,676 have been diagnosed since midnight. Today about 118,000 tests were solved and yesterday about 178,000. The rate of positive tests in the last two days is about 6.5%.
Data from the Ministry of Health show that 1,092 corona patients are hospitalized across the country, 696 of them in critical condition. This is an increase compared to the number of serious patients at the beginning of Shabbat. In fact, this is the highest number of serious patients since the beginning of the month. The data also show that 186 corona patients are connected to respirators. This is the peak of respiration in the fourth wave.

10,921 of those diagnosed over the weekend were not vaccinated at all, many of them under the age of 11, who should not be vaccinated at this stage. This is about 66% of all verified on Friday and Saturday. 4,410 of those diagnosed as positive for Corona, i.e. 27%, were vaccinated with two vaccine doses and only 639 were vaccinated on Friday and Saturday and were vaccinated with three vaccine doses, i.e. less than 4% of those vaccinated over the weekend. No information was received about 3%.
The infection coefficient R is 0.85, which means that the plague is declining. However, after a few weeks in which the coefficient of infection fell, which stood at 0.81 on Friday, it has risen again slightly.
The data show that today seven corona patients died and yesterday 12 patients died from the complications of the disease. These are infinite numbers, as the Ministry of Health receives late reports of deaths. Since the beginning of the month, 258 corona patients have died in Israel and since the outbreak of the plague 7,337. Since the beginning of the month, 33 of the deceased have received the third dose of vaccine. 87 are defined as vaccinated, but they did not receive the third dose of the vaccine while 131 of the deceased were not vaccinated at all. No data were provided for seven victims. This shows that more than 50% of those who died this month were not vaccinated at all.
241 of those who have died since the beginning of the month are aged 60 and over, an age group in which the vaccination rate is over 92%. That is, for every 11 residents who were vaccinated, there is only one who was not vaccinated. The data also show that since the beginning of the month, 17 corona patients under the age of 60 have died. 13 of them were not vaccinated at all and four were vaccinated but did not receive the third dose of vaccine.
In the last week, there has been a very sharp decline in the number of vaccinated, partly due to Rosh Hashanah. About 227,000 Israelis received the third dose of the vaccine this week, about 9,100 today. This is compared to 618,437 last week. This week, we vaccinated about 24,000 Israelis in the first dose, about 1,200 of them today, compared to about 60,500 last week.
In Israel, there are more than 80,800 active Corona patients, most of them in a very mild and mild condition. 5,069 of them live in Jerusalem, 3,391 in Bnei Brak, 3,306 in Tel Aviv-Yafo, 2,636 in Netanya, 2,602 in Ashdod, 2,428 in Petah Tikva, 1,979 in Haifa, 1,841 in Rishon Lezion, 1,791 in Be'er Sheva, 1,750 in Holon, 1,437 in Rehovot, 1,433 in Beit Shemesh, 1,378 in Ashkelon, 1,208 in Ashkelon Yam, 1,133 in Modi'in Illit, 1,018 in Ramat Gan and 1,016 in Hadera.
