The Ministry of Health has announced that it intends to bring further relief to the public. The lifting of more  Corona restrictions will be brought to the government for approval. Among other things, the occupancy restrictions for places operating within the green label will be abolished, and conditions will be defined for activity and the introduction of food. Entry to attractions in enclosed buildings and activities in gyms and swimming pools will be possible even without vaccination and will operate in accordance with the purple mark. The reliefs will take effect on May 6, next Thursday, as long as the morbidity rate remains low.
The relief plan was formulated by senior Ministry of Health officials. Under the plan, children and vaccine engines will be able to enter green mark activities in rapid corona tests. The occupancy limit on all public transport will also be abolished.
Gathering at private events will allow up to 500 people in an open space and up to 50 people in a closed building. Businesses operating under the purple mark will be able to bring more people into the business at the same time - and the occupancy limit will be one person per 7 meters. The Ministry of Health emphasized that it would still be mandatory to wear a mask in a closed space and maintain a distance of two meters.
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said that "thanks to the vaccines, morbidity in Israel has reached an unprecedented level since the beginning of the corona, when the vast majority of the economy is open. In such a situation, the public can be further expanded. We will not allow relief at this stage. "
Earlier today, the corona's professor, Prof. Nachman Ash, also addressed the limitations of the gathering within the green mark, noting that an expansion of the number of vaccinated and recovering congregations is being considered. "We will also announce soon the extension of the green mark, when we finish the exam," he said. "We need to make a decision for the different populations. I estimate that the validity will be extended for another period and that is in accordance with the findings that are being followed, among the vaccinated and recovering to make sure we are in a safe area."
Meanwhile, the Minister of Culture and Sports, MK Chili Trooper, agreed with the Minister of Health, MK Yuli Edelstein, on further facilitations in culture and sports, including increasing the number of spectators in the sports fields and halls and the beginning of the opening of the world of culture to children. The relief will take effect on Thursday, May 6, 2021, subject to government approval and morbidity data.
According to the approved outline, there will be no limit to the number of places for spectators with green marks in halls and sports fields.
The world of culture for children will operate in the following format: In a closed area - up to 50 spectators will be allowed to enter and in an open area up to 500 spectators.
