The Israel Police has concluded an investigation into Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, on suspicion of allegedly exploiting his position and authority in the Ministry of Health, with the aim of improperly influencing the discretion of a variety of professionals subject to him in the ministry. As part of the investigation, suspicions were investigated for other incidents, in which Deputy Minister Litzman allegedly acted to improperly influence the professional echelons in the Ministry of Health (MBN - Mental Health Center) and in other offices for a number of prisoners, some of whom are convicted of sexual offenses, all with the aim of helping them to be released.
