Israeli Billionaire Ziv Aviram and Former US President Bill Clinton Join Forces to Launch Eco-Bridge Investment Fund

Posted on Sep 18, 2023 by Ifi Reporter

In a groundbreaking announcement made during the annual conference of the Clinton Family Foundation, Israeli billionaire Ziv Aviram, one of the co-founders of Mobileye, and former US President Bill Clinton unveiled their collaborative venture, the Eco-Bridge investment fund. This fund will be dedicated to fostering technological innovations aimed at addressing the pressing challenges of the climate crisis.

The announcement came during a high-profile event in New York, attended by prominent figures including Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State and the former president's wife, who will co-lead the fund alongside him.

Ziv Aviram, who played a pivotal role in the success of Mobileye, which was acquired by Intel for a staggering $15.3 billion in 2017, brings a wealth of experience in technological innovation and entrepreneurship to the venture. Aviram also currently serves as a joint active chairman of Orcam Technologies, a company focused on developing devices to assist the visually impaired and individuals with disabilities in identifying people and products.

Former President Bill Clinton, renowned for founding the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in 2005, is no stranger to initiatives aimed at creating positive global impacts. CGI has facilitated over 3,800 "commitments to action," positively affecting the lives of more than 435 million people in over 180 countries since its inception.

The Eco-Bridge fund will be co-led by Ziv Aviram and co-founders Itai Lamberger and Robert Citron. A crucial component of the fund's structure is the "Impact" committee, which will assess the multifaceted consequences of the climate crisis on political, economic, and governmental aspects. President Bill Clinton will chair this committee, ensuring that the fund's investments align with the foundation's impact objectives, particularly in the realms of education and climate.

This collaboration between Ziv Aviram and President Bill Clinton underscores a commitment to harnessing technological innovation to combat the climate crisis. Their partnership extends beyond the announcement, with a shared vision of driving meaningful change on a global scale.

In May, Ziv Aviram hosted former President Clinton at the grand finale of a competition held in Marrakesh, Morocco. This latest endeavor further solidifies their partnership and underscores their dedication to addressing one of the most critical challenges facing humanity today. Eco-Bridge promises to be a powerful force in advancing innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
