More than 62% of companies reported that last month they suffered a hit of more than twenty-five percent in revenue compared to twenty-two percent who reported such a hit in their revenue in the month before. This is according to data published by the Central Bureau of Statistics. About ninety-four percent of businesses in the food industry said they suffered a drop of more than twenty-five percent in their revenue compared to a third of businesses that reported it in August.
The proportion of workers taken on unpaid leave rose sharply from six percent and four-tenths to fourteen percent in the middle of this month
According to business reports, about eleven percent of the workers who went on unpaid leave are in this occupational distress due to the second closure.
It also turns out that about forty percent of the businesses that participated in it did not ask the Ministry of Finance for a support grant because they did not meet the threshold conditions.
