Prime Minister Netanyahu is planning an unprecedented increase in the defense budget, to the extent that it will cost more than NIS 100 billion a year. Today, the annual budget of the IDF, the Mossad and the Shin Bet totals NIS 70 billion. The Netanyahu plan was presented today at the meeting of the political-security cabinet. Among other things, the budgets for the air defense systems - Arrow, Iron Dome and a magic wand - will be increased, as will the construction of a fence along the Jordanian border. The plan will be presented shortly to the General Staff forum and senior Mossad officials, and will be submitted to the Cabinet for approval in the future
The Finance Ministry says there is no budgetary source for the plan presented by Netanyahu. It seems that if the plan is implemented, there will be cuts in the government ministries, and therefore in the social ministries
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented to the Cabinet the "Security Concept 2030", the principles for determining the defense budget in the coming years. Thus, Netanyahu intends to increase the defense budget by 0.2% to 0.3% of the GNP in parallel with the continued efficiency of the IDF. Netanyahu stated that the goal is for the defense budget not to open from about 6 percent of the GNP, and when the GNP reaches half a trillion dollars, it will reexamine the rate required for total expenditure on defense.
The Finance Ministry's national housing headquarters said tonight that the war to lower housing prices has better months and less good months, but it can be safely said that this has been a second year.
The chairman of the Zionist camp, Avi Gabbay, has attacked the prime minister and finance and housing ministers over the past decade. Gabbai also said that these people are the accomplices of the terrible crime in the real estate market, in which the younger generation was abandoned and sent to wait for the moment to receive inheritances from its parents.
