The heavy firing on Israel. From eight in the evening last night until the morning hours, the Palestinians fired more than one hundred and thirty rockets, twenty-four fell in the Gaza Strip. The Iron Dome system intercepted dozens of rockets. Several rockets were fired in Sderot
In Petah Tikva, nine people were injured last night by rockets in three residential buildings. Two were moderately injured and the rest lightly. He was in the protected space but was hit by shrapnel that penetrated through the window.

A heavy barrage was fired last night between Wednesday and Thursday into the Gush Dan, Shefela and northern Sharon area shortly after 01:00, resulting in direct damage to buildings in Petah Tikva and Rishon Lezion. Later that night, alarms were also sounded in the Gaza Strip and west of Lachish, but less than the night before. In Petah Tikva, five smoke inhalers and shrapnel were injured - four lightly and one moderately. Rescuers rescued some of the occupants from their apartments due to the fire that broke out at the site. Early in the morning, barrages resumed towards the Gaza Strip.
Shooting concentration:
Dozens of rockets were fired at night into Gush Dan, the Shephelah and the northern Sharon
• Alarms were sounded in the Lower Galilee and the Jezreel Valley, but there were no launches.
• Rockets hit homes in Petah Tikva and Rishon Lezion directly, 1 moderately injured and 4 lightly
• Ido Avigal, a 5-year-old boy who was injured by a rocket in Sderot, died of his wounds
• The IDF attacked strategic structures in Gaza, including the central bank of Hamas
Hamas' military wing claimed responsibility for the barrage, but did not mention the shooting to northern Sharon. The barrage was fired about an hour after the IAF launched a massive attack in the northern Gaza Strip, destroying Hamas' internal security headquarters (the organization's security apparatus).
In Petah Tikva, a large fire broke out in the yard of the buildings where the fall occurred, and it also spread to vehicles. Many fire and rescue forces arrived at the scene, searched for casualties and rescued tenants from their apartments. "I did not think it would happen here, in my house in Petah Tikva," said Hadas, a tenant in one of the buildings, and burst into tears. "We went down to the shelter, we heard an alarm and suddenly there was a boom. Smoke went into the shelter, and the neighbor next to me who was sitting on a chair flew back. One of the neighbors did not get into the shelter, was injured in the head and bled. Our whole house was destroyed."
The IDF spokesman said that alarms sounded at night in the Lower Galilee and in the Jezreel Valley were used as a precautionary measure because after the launch, the exact location of the crash did not appear in the systems. However, there were no launches to the north of the country.
The IDF spokesman referred to the attack that preceded the night barrage and said that "IDF fighter jets and aircraft attacked buildings of strategic importance to the Hamas terrorist organization and also thwarted a squad of Hamas naval force. Among the buildings were attacked the Hamas central bank and two buildings of The Hamas-owned internal security headquarters in Gaza, which are used for intelligence thwarting operations. "
The IDF later announced that it had attacked the home of Iyad Tayeb, commander of a Hamas central camp battalion. According to the IDF, the house served as a terrorist infrastructure. "The IDF continues to attack terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip," it was reported. The Gaza Ministry of Health claimed that 67 people had been killed so far as a result of IDF attacks in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, al-Jazeera reported that there was no breakthrough in the contacts between the mediators between Israel and Hamas. According to the report, the talks are failing "due to Israel's insistence on continuing the attacks." Hamas conditioned its consent to a ceasefire on a reciprocal ceasefire before a dialogue on calm began.
The IDF said that more than 1,500 rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip since the beginning of Operation Guardian. Seven Israelis were killed. The IDF attacked more than six hundred terrorist targets. An IDF spokesman claims that there are cracks in Hamas and that they were surprised by the intensity of the IDF's attacks.
