The new chairman of Bank Leumi, Dr. Samer Haj Yahya, will chair the committee that will choose the person who will replace outgoing CEO Rakefet Russak Aminoach, who recently announced her resignation.
"The recommendations of the committee will be presented to the Board of Directors of the Bank for the purpose of deciding on the appointment of the CEO as soon as possible," said Leumi Finance Minister Omri Marani.

The bank's chief executive, Rusak Aminoach, recently announced its retirement, similar to the retirement of its counterparts Arik Pinto of Poalim and Lilach Asher Topilsky.
The market believes that the Bank Hapoalim screening committee is close to a decision, while Discount Bank seems to have a relatively good position.
