Posted on May 21, 2019 by Ifi Reporter

Partner has completed the implementation of the technology to support esim in Apple's new watches to be launclhed in Israel. The company is now ready to support Apple's new watches based on esim technology, once officially launched in Israel in June.

Partner launched the early registration for the launch of the new smart clock. Partner will grant unique benefits to customers who register and purchase the esim-supporting watch first, using esim at no additional cost to the cellular customers in Partner's plans for more than six months at no additional cost for the use of esim for all of Partner's cellular customers and additional benefits.
The acquisition itself will be possible as soon as the new clock is launched by Apple in Israel next month. The smart watch, the Apple Watch Series 4, supports esim technology, which enables mobile browsing and calls using the clock as an independent unit without the need to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Partner's VP of Technologies Raz Bartov said: "In recent weeks, we have worked with Apple's professional teams to ensure that our customers can fully support all the capabilities of the new Apple Watch from the moment it is launched in Israel. Apple will launch the new clock in Israel next month, and Partner is already ready to support esim from day one. "
Partner's rapid deployment follows a broad strategic cooperation between the two companies. Partner markets Apple's range of products at Partner stores across the country and on the company's website, markets and supports Apple's recently launched business solutions in Israel, enabling Partner TV customers to watch the TV content on a designated Apple TV application. In addition, Partner has a unique partnership with the Apple Music music service, which includes an exclusive six-month exclusive benefit for Partner subscribers, and regular use of the music service on a smartphone and now Apple Watch, without affecting the surfing package.
