MWC opend: 65 Israeli companies exhibit in a national booth

65 technology companies and start-ups  exhibit in the Israel booth at the 2018 MWC cellular exhibition, which opend thi week in Barcelona.
In the world's largest and most important mobile exhibition, more than 100,000 visitors and 2,000 companies present the most innovative technologies, products and applications in the field. The exhibition, which is traditionally attracted by large companies in the field of communications, including cellular operators, Internet service providers, device manufacturers, banks and insurance companies, are attracting companies seeking solutions from a variety of fields such as Automotives, Smart Cities, IOT, Artificial Intelligence, AR / VR, Technologies Medical, cyber and more.
The exhibition was built by the Israel Export Institute and the Foreign Trade Administration of the Ministry of Economics. The Israeli stand is 550 square meters and is centrally located alongside the world's leading communications companies.
During the exhibition, more than 3000 pre-determined business meetings take place in the Israeli pavilion as a result of the intensive work of the commercial annexes of the Ministry of Economy and the Export Institute.
Among the technologies to be displayed in the Israeli pavilion: a computerized system for identifying smells, platforms for the simple creation of a virtual reality experience, an application that enables 3D scanning of objects using the iPhone or iPad camera, live broadcasts in VR, social music application, On the windshields and more. In addition to the start-up companies, the Israeli pavilion also features some of the flagship ships in the communications world, such as Check Point and RAD.

The Israeli mobile market includes more than 1,000 mobile companies. In 2017 more than $ 550 million was raised by companies in 72 different transactions, including raising funds by Vayyar, HopOn and Hoopo. In the past year, we have seen a number of impressive success stories from Israeli companies, such as Eyesight, selected by the Korean giant LG as a tribute-based control systems provider for car entertainment systems, SQream, which has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese company Alibaba and Lumus, which has invested tens of millions of dollars from international giants Quanta And HTC.
