20,000 demand: stop deporting refugee status seekers from Israel

In Rabin Square in Tel Aviv, thousands demonstrated against the deportation of job seekers seeking refugee status. The rally, "Israel stops the expulsion - for south Tel Aviv, demanding that the deportation of asylum seekers be halted and that the neighborhoods in the south of Tel Aviv be rehabilitated.
The rally takes place with the cooperation of the Sudanese community and the Eritrean community, and the organizations of the 'Stop the Expulsion' movement, the South Tel Aviv Movement Against the Deportation, and the various aid organizations.
The rally was attended by activist Reuven Abergil, refugees from Sudan and Eritrea, residents of southern Tel Aviv, a resident of Arad, and Holocaust survivors. According to estimates, about 20,000 people participated at the rally.
