The investigation into the "3000 file" is completed after two years and the police recommend that six suspects be brought to trial: Police claim evidence has been formed against six involved in the submarine affair: Brig. Gen. (res.) Avriel Bar Yosef, Brig. Gen. (res.) Shai Brosh, Attorney David Shimron, former minister Modi Zandberg and David Sharan, who said that "there was not enough evidence to commit crimes" from attorney Yitzhak Molcho, his close associate, advisor and former personal envoy to the prime minister.
Regarding Maj. Gen. (res.) Marom, the former commander of the navy, the police stated that "evidence has been formed for bribery, fraud and breach of trust, conspiring to commit a crime, money laundering and VAT offenses. Attorney David Shimron, a close associate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cousin, said: "The evidentiary infrastructure has been formed to commit bribery-related offenses in connection with his relationship with Ganor and offenses of fraudulently receiving aggravated circumstances and money laundering in connection with his involvement in the Credit Suisse affair, .
Against Brig. Gen. (res.) Shai Brosh, an evidentiary infrastructure was established for bribery, fraud and breach of trust, conspiracy to commit a crime, illegal invoicing and money laundering offenses.
The investigation revealed that former Minister Zandberg had formed an "evidentiary basis for bribery, fraud and breach of trust and illegal invoicing."
David Sharan, former chief of staff in the Prime Minister's Office, is also expected to stand trial if the police recommendation is accepted: "Evidence infrastructure has been formed for bribery, fraud and breach of trust, conspiracy to commit a crime, money laundering and offenses under the Parties and Elections Financing Law."
The police also noted in the summary of the investigation: "In the framework of the investigation, a sufficient evidentiary infrastructure was established to establish suspicions against other persons involved in the affair, including private businessmen who do not hold public office."
"During the conduct of the investigation and the collection of the evidence, deficiencies were discovered in all matters relating to administrative arrangements among various bodies, vis-à-vis business and private entities, in all matters relating to security and strategic acquisition of the State of Israel." "These defects require the production of insights and lessons learned by the competent authorities in order to improve and streamline the security procurement procedures in the State of Israel and to protect them from foreign interests and improper influences from a forward-looking perspective.
No evidentiary infrastructure was found.
In November 2016, the Attorney General ordered the opening of an investigation on suspicion of bribery and breach of trust in transactions between Israel and the German corporation Tisenkrupp. In February 2017, the investigation became an investigation, and the suspects were interrogated and arrested. Prime Minister Netanyahu also gave testimony in the affair. In July 2017, an agreement was signed with Miki Ganor, representing the German corporation in Israel. Ganor, according to the agreement, will serve a year in prison and pay a fine of ten million shekels. In return, he will cooperate with the state and provide information on the offenses.
Those involved in the affair have done various actions to get funds that are not worthy. Thus, for example, the lawyer Shimron received money for his connections with the prime minister and the amount of money reached NIS 270,000. Marom allegedly received NIS 600,000 in compensation for his advice to Ganor to the state.

Meanwhile, Israel is optimistic about the chances of implementing the submarine deal with Germany. In Jerusalem, the police are waiting for comments in Germany. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Chancellor Merkel spoke yesterday, but according to a source familiar with the details of the conversation, they did not discuss the issue.
